The high level of protection against water is due to the Gore-Tex® membrane used in these boots. Thanks to it, your feet will always remain dry and protected from the cold on rainy days. The breathable (vapour-permeable) membrane is also responsible for wicking away moisture from inside the boots. In situations of intense activity, it will not allow excess moisture to accumulate on the skin. As a result, it ensures optimum thermal comfort.
The front part of the shoes is protected by a special rubber boot. Its purpose is to protect the toes from impact with the elements of the terrain and from accidental wetness on contact with moisture.
An essential element of the boots is the DAS Light system developed by the Dolomite brand. It consists of an anatomically shaped inner insole that provides a comfortable fit, reduces fatigue and takes care to preserve the natural biomechanics of the foot.
The Vibram® Ice Trek 2 sole used on this model guarantees high grip and stability on uneven ground. Its medium hardness will be suitable for most hikes in both mountain and forest terrain. The EVA foam in the sole, on the other hand, effectively absorbs and dampens the unevenness of the terrain we tread on.
